The Story
I wanted to create a T-shirt
that captures the soul of the city
I had never seen a Barcelona T-shirt that I truly liked.
Most designs felt overly touristic, far from the city that I know and love. So, it felt like the right moment to return to my design background
and create something different
Not a landmark printed on fabric, but a design inspired by the atmosphere, colors,
and shapes that make Barcelona special
My name is Maja, and I live in Barcelona. For years, I’ve shared my personal view of the city’s uniqueness with visitors, beyond the tourist attractions. That inspired me to create a design shaped by the authentic Barcelona style and spirit

inspired by Catalan Modernism
Angel silhouettes from Columbus monument,
Modernist mosaics at Palau de la Música,
Iron lanterns in the Gothic Quarter,
Floral façade tiles
Mediterranean reflections
Blue tones of the sky and sea, sandy shades of the beach,
silhouettes of the city.
Decadent golden decorations
Yellow sunset light, ocre tones of the building,
burnt colors of wood and tiles
Sunwashed blue horizons
Palm tree silhouettes, vintage Modernist interiors
and vibrant glass mosaics
